Christina Clayton

Serving Families, Securing Legacies

Christina Clayton was born and raised in Houston, Texas. A second-generation lawyer, she followed in the footsteps of her father, the Honorable Tim Taft. As living proof of newsman Dan Rather's observation that nothing in life is too tough for a woman from Texas, Christina met her husband in law school, and after they both passed the bar, the two spent 21 years living as Army nomads, moving wherever the military sent them. Raising four children with no family nearby was no small task, but God's provision proved abundant and unmistakable at each new duty station.

Military life during the Global War on Terror carried a sobering truth: tomorrow is never promised. Loved ones worked long hours, traveled constantly, and deployed overseas. All too often, service members and civilians alike missed the chance to secure the legal protections their families needed — leaving family members without the life planning and estate planning documents essential to their care.

These experiences shaped Christina's calling. She has focused her legal skill, life experience, and hard-won wisdom on estate planning and probate, helping Texans protect their futures and their legacies through individualized, prudent planning. When the time comes, she guides families through probate and estate settlement with steady care, easing one of life's most difficult passages.
